Testimonials for Vocal Alchemy

"Ella set up the framework for a truly transformative experience at her Vocal Alchemy workshop. It was more than exploring vocal expression as a group. Ella created a safe environment for everyone to be seen, witnessed and supported in our very personal healing journeys.

With her keen intuition, Ella guided us in partner and group exercises that established a non-judgemental environment of trust, openness, meaningful sharing, curiosity and playfulness.

I felt comfortable from the very beginning and enjoyed the sense of heartfelt connectedness and synergy within our group. I can highly recommend any of Ella's offerings."

“I participated in a 4 hour Vocal Alchemy workshop with Ella and I can testify that it was exactly what it set out to be - alchemical!
Under the gentle, wise and competent guidance of Ella, we, as a group, safely navigated many moments of vulnerability. Ella moved us from ice breaking silliness to the challenging depths of suppressed emotions, such as grief and pain, to the more liberating heights of belly laughter and deep relief - all by using the power of our own voices. I had so much fun with the (to me as a novice), unusual sound exercises and walked away so much lighter and brighter with more  transformational tools in my personal tool box.
I recommend Ella's workshops and individual guidance to anyone who is ready for a truly healing experience. I believe that it will, as it did for me, add sparks to your own creative Journey in life. Enjoy!”

“Ella creates a wonderful safe container to explore our innate sound. She has extensive knowledge of the mind, body, emotions and voice. As an experienced facilitator she easily leads playful explorations as well as tender inspirational moments.”

Ella Morelle Vocal Bio

Ella’s Journey into Voice began 35 years ago with a transformational experience where her voice was miraculously awakened with her first mentor, the inimitable Harriet Buchan in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She had found her voice. However she then lost her voice through not understanding the gift, not heeding the call, and has spent the next 3 decades on a journey of inquiry into the healing voice, releasing the voice and vocal expression including improvisation.

All this led to her founding and leading groups, from 2001-2018 in vocal improvisation, community choirs, Threshold style choirs and also offering workshops in freeing the voice/ the healing voice.

A brain injury 7 years ago put a halt to all of that. Once again she lost her vocal capacity. And had to find it again. It has been a long haul in recovery but her calling wouldn’t leave her alone and now she is resurfacing at last with new, unique, vocal healing offerings.

If you think you would enjoy a world, folk, contemporary classical fusion style then this is the place for you.

Here are some of her mentors over the course of 3 and a 1/2 decades:
